y’all act like just because tumblr doesn’t really have celebrities or because blue check marks don’t exist, that there isn’t an elitist system in play. y’all act like tumblr is an untouchable area of quirky kids when, in reality, a good portion of tumblr’s users won’t follow someone without a a nice url or a nice icon, and some who won’t even follow someone without a canon url. even if you love their content, you won’t reblog anyone’s stuff except your close circle of friends - while reblogging posts about needing to support content creators. y’all only want to support the content creators with canon urls who have half a million followers.
